Wow! We did it! We got to over 100 followers on my Kickstarter in a matter of days!

I have more publishing updates below, but, I think it's time for the art reveal!

I am so thrilled to show you the finished end page illustration by @themoonborn.illustrations ! Gabby is an incredibly hardworking and talented artist that creates illustrations for some of the biggest books coming out this year! Check her out!

I was so thrilled she took this scene on. It is one of my favorites moments from “Christmas with the Elf King” when Noelle and Elden’s uneasy alliance becomes something more. 😍

I've mentioned that my book is a lot like "Lord of the Rings"--with Christmas! I was not only speaking of the beautiful realm of Rivendell. This scene where Noelle and Elden dance at a country wedding is very much inspired by Bilbo Baggins' hobbit party!

Cute little close up:

The way he's looking at her!!!

Gabby is an absolute magician with colors! This downsized version does not capture the bright colors nearly as well as the original. Gabby’s is currently working on the illustration for the back end pages and I can’t wait to share!

This art with be in my Deluxe Special Edition coming to Kickstarter in July! Follow now to be the first to get early bird deals!

Book 2 update: Y'all, I cannot even tell you how giddy I am about book 2! I just finished writing the absolute CUTEST scene that had me kicking my feet! I get to do so much with this book and write so many fun scenes that I am really enjoying the flow of writing.

There were a couple weeks where I was staring at a blank paper, but one morning when I was taking my golden retriever, Pippin, for a walk--the scene, the "why" all clicked together. I stopped right there on the side of the street and wrote a huge paragraph of notes. I couldn't wait to get home and get the ideas down! It's been a fun whirlwind of ideas and moments since then! I really think y'all will love this one!

Until next time, I am wishing you a lovely spring!

With love, Lenore
